GENERAL TERMS When you purchase, receive or redeem a WBA gift certificate, you agree that the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these gift certificate terms and conditions. The Wayne Business Association reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its discretion and without notice to holders of WBA gift certificates. All terms and conditions are subject to applicable law. PARTICIPATION Businesses that participate in the WBA gift certificate program and accept WBA gift certificates in exchange for goods and services are listed on the WBA website: www.waynebusiness.com. The list of participating businesses is subject to change, without notice. Prior to using a WBA gift certificate, calling business owners to confirm participation is recommended. PURCHASE WBA gift certificates may be purchased in person at Sovereign Bank located at 123 W. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087. Acceptable methods of payment are cash and/or check. WBA gift certificates may be purchased in any denomination up to a maximum of $100. REDEMPTION WBA gift certificates can be used towards the cost of products, services, applicable taxes and gratuities at participating businesses. If the amount of a purchase exceeds the value of the gift certificate, the balance must be settled directly with the participating business at the time of purchase. If the value of the gift certificate is greater than the total cost of the purchase, the participating business may, at their discretion, issue a gift certificate for the balance to be used at a future date at that business or refund the balance in cash. LIMITATIONS WBA gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash or credit WBA gift certificates cannot be applied to previous services WBA gift certificates cannot be resold WBA gift certificates are not refundable RISK OF LOSS The risk of loss and title for WBA gift certificates pass to the purchaser. The Wayne Business Association is not responsible if a WBA gift certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without the purchaser's permission. EXPIRATION In accordance with PA law, WBA gift certificates do not expire. Any expiration date noted on a WBA gift certificate that was issued prior to the enactment of this law should be disregarded. Additionally, maintenance, dormancy or service fees to not apply to WBA gift certificates. RETURNING MERCHANDISE If you wish to return any merchandise purchased with a WBA gift certificate, you will be subject to the merchant's return policies. LIABILITY In no event shall the Wayne Business Association be liable for any losses, costs or damages in connection with any goods or services purchased with WBA gift certificates.
